Facing the Petit Villandry

As the day fades under the lights of the sun settting, the gardens are adorned with light

under the flames of more than 2,000 candles. On the four levels of the terraces, the walk

looks dreamlike…

For the more curious, guided tours will be an opportunity to discover the history of the gardens,

from the Renaissance to the present day.

THE VEGETABLE GARDEN DAYS of The Villandry Gardens: September 27th and 28th, 2025

Whisle the vegetable garden and gardens will be at their peak, the gardeners of Villandry will meet visitors share their tips and know-how and advice them.

Beginner or experienced gardeners will undoubtedly leave with many ideas in mind and vegetables in their baskets.

EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS:

19th, 20th, 21st September 2025

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, Villandry is honouring the region's craftsmen.

Upholsterer-decorator, decorative painter, stonemason, art cabinetmaker, etc. So many professions that perpetuate ancient techniques and gestures, and ensure their transmission, guaranteeing the preservation and conservation of our heritage.

CHRISTMAS AT THE CASTLES: from December 1st, 2025 to January 11th, 2026, several of the castles in Villandry and the surrounding area welcome young and old in a beautiful fairyland.
